STUDY LIKE A BOSS!
*sigh.. yawn*
It's that time again ... the exams are coming. That means: lock yourself in your home, read books until you fall asleep and a no social life! Rest assured dear readers, we, as the very smart studying lovers that we are, have some advice for you to endure your exam week without any problems! Studying like a boss? Done and done!
1. Clean up the mess!
Normally, it's no problem at all if your room is a pigsty but when you have to study, the urge to clean your room suddenly arises. Sounds familiar? However, it is true that a tidy room provides you rest, and to feel relaxed is good, especially during the exam weeks. It's nice to have some space in your head and create a calm feeling so you can dive into books. So before you start studying: clean your room, do this a few days in advance and not on the moment that you really ought to be studying!
Also: turn your computer/smart phone/tablet off (unless they're for learning). Get yourself to study for a couple of hours and then take a break (section 4). This ensure to get you into that 'learning vibe' or a state of optimal mental activity in which your brains will easily accept the matters of the book you are reading.
2. The desk is where the books areSometimes, switching from your familiar environment to an unknown environment is the right thing to do. Some people are better in studying in the library or at school, at your granny's or maybe even at a bench in the park. At some other place there may be less distraction.

Sometimes it happens that you feel very stressed before the exams have even started! "I got three exams on Monday, two on Tuesday another four on Wednesday and a couple of oral exams at Thursday". WHUT! You can feel the sweat on your back and your head is spinning... chill man!! Let's be realistic, it's practically impossible to learn for that amount of exams and pass them all.
Don't set the bar too high for yourself and focus only on the pure essential exams. This will prevent a lot of stress. Focus especially on the resits, but not too much, otherwise you'll have to do twice as much the next time. Therefore, focus on the exams of which you think you have a chance at passing in. It is OK if you don't pass everything!
4. Have no fear the schedule is here
Make a study schedule, write down the things you have to do and the amount of time you'll need for every subject. This way you will have everything done just in time for the exams. Oh and stick to it!
5. Be there or be square!
Learning is already 50% done if you just are present in lectures. When you take notes in class, the brain is already inhaling all the lectures and material. This includes making summaries during learning. Therefore, always make your own extracts and summaries.
6. Treat Yo Self!
And finally the least but not less important rule, treat yourself after a long day of studying or passing an exam. Take a bath, watch a movie, go to a friend, have a (small) drink, have a laugh, beat your grandpa in candy crush sagga, pimp your ride, paint your dog, in short: relaxxx
